Our recipient for our 4th Annual Golf Outing is a resilient 7 year old girl named Abby. In the summer of 2020, Abby was backed over by a riding mower which resulted in her losing her left leg up to the knee. She visits her prosthetist every 2 months or so to have her prosthetic checked on, and every 6 months she has to visit an orthopedic surgeon for x-rays. She has overcome daily challenges which include frequent pains and discomfort, but her mom says it does not slow her down. She enjoys dance, art, trampolines, swimming, learning to snowboard, hiking/nature and animals. After a recent growth spurt, Abby is ready for a new prosthetic and we are hoping our golf outing will help cover some or all of the cost for Abby’s new leg.
